It was just Monday wasn't it...

A God sized pool!

 This is for my Flourish Bible Study friends who've heard my stories of how God blesses me with the desires of my heart! The pool is huge and most of the time this week we had it to ourselves. Every time I swam I felt God was saying, "I haven't forgotten." I pray you know today that He hasn't forgotten your desires, hopes and dreams. He just may surprise you with a God size blessing!

The only shoes I've had on my feet since we arrived. Wishing you a flip-flop day, if not on your feet then at least in your heart!

A day at the beach stills my heart.

Don't leave home without it!

Don' leave home without it! And we didn't. Riding proudly in the back seat was our Keurig! Enjoying my coffee this morning. It might even taste a little better at the beach! Thought I would share a blog I wrote a couple of years ago. It's one of my favorites. God can teach us through anything...even a Keurig.

It doesn't make sense...but it works.

My Happy Place

I'm in my happy place. It's always the same for me, the first moment I see the ocean. For me it seems like I'm standing face to face with God. Nothing in between us. I'm faced with the expanse of His power and greatness. I wish you were here!

Sundays…a gift from God.

Today is Sunday.  I’ve always loved Sundays. It’s that special day of the week that belongs to you. The hours are yours to do with what you wish. When I was young, ‘’back in the day” Sunday was the day the busyness and sounds of everyday life were set to pause. It was the day we slept in, stayed a little longer in our pajamas and the day my dad cooked the most wonderful breakfast ever prepared.  Sometimes there were Sunday drives or backyard BBQ’s or trips to the beach. I have wonderful memories of Sundays and I cherish every one of them.

Every week has a Sunday. God has given each of us a Sunday, even if the world calls it another name. For those of us who work on Sunday it may be Friday, or Tuesday, or even Thursday. No matter the name the calendar gives, it’s our day. The day we own each hour. The day we decide how it’s spent.

Sunday’s are a gift from God. Twenty-four precious hours that belong to you. Renew your spirit, revive your soul, rest your body. Reclaim Sunday and enjoy your special day!
